CENDIM was established in January 2001 as an interdisciplinary
research center for disaster management. The center is
in strategic partnership with many national and international
organizations to develop disaster, engineering and risk
management plans and to facilitate information sharing
with governmental, non-governmental and community based
organizations. CENDIM also aims to deploy the synergy
of multi-disciplinary collaboration by national and international
organizations.
